Welcome to Jade & Cinnabar. An acupuncture appointment here is considered a commitment between practitioner and patient. I respect your time and ask for the same courtesy in return.
While I understand that unanticipated events and scheduling conflicts arise for everyone, please bear in mind that given the highly individualized nature of our work together, each appointment is reserved exclusively for one patient at a time. For this reason, last minute scheduling changes significantly impact my ability to run the practice smoothly and sustainably and may affect appointment availability for other patients.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature and size of the practice, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for all scheduling changes. Appointments missed, rescheduled, or cancelled with less than the required advance notice will be subject to a charge of the full appointment fee. Consideration will be given to extenuating circumstances such as true emergencies. In the event of inclement weather or hazardous road conditions, your safety comes first. Please do not hesitate to reschedule your appointment without penalty if you feel it is unsafe to travel.
Late Arrivals Policy
If you are running late, I will do my best to accommodate you. However, depending on how late you are, your session may have to be shortened or rescheduled so as not to penalize patients whose appointments follow yours. Out of respect and consideration for all patients, please plan accordingly and arrive on time.
Financial Policy
Jade & Cinnabar is a fee-for-service practice. Due to the length of the initial visit, online prepayment is required to reserve your appointment time. For follow-up sessions, payment is expected at the time of treatment. I accept all major credit cards, HSA and FSA debit cards, contactless payments including Apple Pay and Google Pay, checks, and cash. Gift cards are also available.
I appreciate your understanding and look forward to our work together.
