Whether you are a new or returning patient, each visit includes a thorough assessment and treatment plan that evolves as your health improves. We are committed to supporting your health and quality of life at every stage of your healing journey through acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional guidance, and lifestyle counseling. The following schedule outlines the fees for the available session types.
Acupuncture Treatments
Comprehensive Initial Visit
- Initial Consultation and Treatment Session (2 hours)
- Discussion of primary health issues, concerns and expectations
- A complete medical intake and diagnostic evaluation
- Followed by acupuncture treatment
Extended Initial Visit
- Extended Initial Consultation and Treatment Session (2 hours +)
- Discussion of primary health issues, concerns and expectations
- An extended intake and comprehensive medical history review and evaluation beyond the time-frame of a regular initial consultation
- Followed by acupuncture treatment
Regular Return Visit
- Return Acupuncture Session (1 hour +)
- A follow-up visit for standard acupuncture appointment following the initial consultation
- The session focuses primarily on progress assessment and acupuncture treatment
- May also include herbal follow-up and reevaluation, or dietary and lifestyle recommendations
Extended Return Visit
- Return Patient Consultation and Acupuncture Session (1.5 hours)
- A return visit after a year or greater break in treatment and/or appearance of substantially new and complex health issues
- Requires review of findings, diagnostic reevaluation and reassessment of treatment
- The session goes beyond a usual follow-up
FSA + HSA
We accept FSA + HSA cards and are happy to provide superbill forms for direct insurance reimbursement
Recommendations
Herbal therapy, diet, and lifestyle recommendations discussed during the initial visit are carefully monitored and reevaluated at subsequent appointments.
Herbs
Additional fees apply for herbs, approximate cost of herbal formulas is $35-50 per 10 day supply
